Let me ask you a question? And please be truthful with your answer!

How many learning books have you bought and have read through from cover to cover?

This question isn't specifically aimed at Photoshop tutorials it can apply to any learning book.

I just did a quick count of the ones I can see on the nearest shelf as i write this article...27 books and not a single one of them have I read from cover to cover. Not only that - the vast majority of them I probably haven't even read 20% of!

That's quite an astonishing statistic don't you think?

While in the bookshop you were surrounded by so much knowledge - and you'd heard somewhere along the grapevine that "Knowledge is Power" - and the new glossy book smelled so nice (don't worry I'm seeing my book fetish psychologist on a weekly basis).

The big problem with learning books is you feel like you are on your own - and guess what? - You are!

So what's the solution i hear you cry?

The solution - video tutorials - using this method you can hear somebody else talk you through techniques and see which buttons they press!

How many times have you gone through a tutorial in a book / magazine only to find an important step was missing because the person writing the tutorial had forgotten or thought it so obvious they left it out!

How infuriating is that when it takes you 2 hours or more to find the solution - then you kindly e-mail the editor to point out the error of his ways to try and avoid the misfortune for the next person (because you're such a nice person and you don't want the next poor sod suffering the same misfortune).

So if you're struggling with Photoshop 7 or Photoshop CS - we have the solution for you.

So if you're struggling with Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS, Dreamweaver MX, Dreamweaver MX 2004, or VB.NET- we have the solution for you.
